2008 MINI STOCK RULES

CAR REQUIREMENTS

1. Car must be 10 years or older. VIN # must remain on car or show title for ID verification of year.

2. 4 cylinder cars only are acceptable providing it meets safety requirements.

3. No convertibles, trucks or station wagons.

4. All glass must be removed. Must have screen in place of windshield. NO THIRD BRAKE LIGHT

5. No high performance or race parts permitted except seats and belts.

6. All doors must be welded, chained or bolted shut.

7. No modifications to body, suspension or engine. Interior Structures must remain intact unless clearance for roll cage only. Fender welds may be trimmed for tire clearance. Inner fender welds must remain in place. Head and tail lights must be removed. Stock bumpers with small nerf bars allowed.

8. All cars must have number on both doors and on top (18" or larger) and must be visible.

9. No locked rear ends.

10. All tires (no grooving) must be steel belt radials and same size (14" or 15" -- No stagger).

11. Racing wheels or OEM wheels allowed with 6" maximum (1" lug nuts on all 4 wheels) Aluminum wheels allowed. Must be stock offset with 3" maximum.

12. All cars are for sale for $600 cash, anyone who claims a car must be in the top 5 at the end of the race and must do so within 15 minutes. Penalty for refusing claim is No Money or Points for the night.

13. If claimed you keep seat and seat belts if they are racing type.

14. No Holley Carbs.

15. Tow chain on front and back of car is mandatory.

16. No 4 wheel drives allowed.

17. Stock Air Cleaners or K&M stock replacement filters.

18. Factory headers only.

19. Minimum ground clearance of 6" after race

SAFETY RULES

1. All drivers and riders must wear helmets, seat belts, long sleeves and long pants.

2. Window nets mandatory. Must have screen in place of windshield.

3. All cars must have working fire extinguisher.

4. Rear seat, headliner and carper must be removed.

5. Gas tank or boat tank can be strapped in trunk. Must have steel firewall between tank and driver and fuel line must exit from top.

ROLL BAR & ROLL CAGE INSTALLATION

1. Must be built from steel tubing (no pipe of any kind) min. 1 1/2 OD x .095" wall thickness. All tubing must be mandrel bent and welded with arc, mig or tig. Must have halo around driver with 2 diagonal braces for support. Must be welded to the frame. Full center section is mandatory.

2. Door plates mandatory (both sides if 2 seats) plate size 1/4" x 12" and must extend past front and center post unless you have door bars.

3. When no frame, a 6" plate must be welded to floor and pipe welded to plate.

POINTS

1. All points will go to the driver or designated team. Team Name must be designated at the beginning of the season. There can only be 2 people per team and they must be named at the beginning of the season and can not change during the season!  If you decide to run as a TEAM, sign your car up under the team name each week, not using individual person’s name. All points will then be given to the team, not to the drivers. Only 1 team member can be in the car when racing. No substitutions.

INSPECTION

1. Refusal to permit inspection will result in immediate disqualification.

2. Track inspectors decision will be final. No exceptions.
